Espress-Go is owned and operated by Rick & Ursula Lull, life long residents of the Benton Harbor/St. Joseph area. They have three daughters, Hannah, Sydney, and Adyson, who will soon begin working in the family business.

Espress-Go I opened in May 2000 at 269 East Napier Avenue in Benton Harbor.

Espress-Go II opened in December 2001 at 3985 Red Arrow Highway in St Joseph.

Espress-Go Catering, featuring mobile Espresso, Coffee, Specialty drink bar carts, began in Jan 2006.

In Feb 2009, Rick, franchised Espress-Go I to Christine, better known as "The Purple Glove Lady". Christine was a veteran employee - barista of six years at Espress-Go II before taking over Espress-Go I.

Rick got his idea for a Coffee - Espresso drive thru while visiting relatives in the Seattle and San Fransisco areas in the mid 90s. Espresso drive thrus were well established in these areas by then. He resigned his commission as an Army Officer in 1999 with a desire to be his own boss and have more control over where he lived and began building Espress-Go I.
